Dr. Micha Piraino

West Virginia & Maryland Mobile Veterinarian
Dr. Micha Piraino is the veterinarian and business owner of Country Roads Mobile Veterinary Practice. She grew up in Purgitsville, WV with her 4 brothers, 1 sister, and a houseful of pets. She graduated from Keyser High School in 2004, WVU in 2008, and The Ohio State University in 2013. Dr. Micha moved back home to be closer to family and friends and to work in the communities that she grew up in. Dr. Micha founded Country Roads Mobile Vet as the first full service mobile veterinary clinic in West Virginia and with the goal of expanding high quality, affordable veterinary care to those who may not have access to traditional veterinary care.

Keleia Piraino

Keleia Piraino grew up in Purgitsville, WV and is the youngest sibling of Dr. Micha. She graduated from Keyser High School in 2013, and Potomac State College in 2017. She began working as a veterinary assistant at Country Roads MVP in May 2018. She also works at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lavale, MD, as well as Hoover’s Bar and Grill in Keyser. When she’s not busy working 3 jobs, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and baseball games (go O’s!), as well as spending time with her many nieces and nephews. She has a dachshund named Boo and a new Golden Retriever puppy named Harper. She grew up, like Dr. Micha, surrounded by many animals and is excited to work in the field of veterinary medicine.

Charlene Kuhn

Charlene is the receptionist and a veterinary assistant for Country Roads MVP. She grew up in North Carolina and moved to West Virginia in 2009. She began volunteering at a local veterinary office upon moving here and fell in love with veterinary medicine. Micha and Charlene met through a close friend in 2014 and have been working together since. Charlene enjoys spending time with her husband, Homer, and their son, Gary. She also enjoys playing with her three doggies Stumpy, Cornpuff, and Zeek. She loves working with animals and looks forward to learning much more.

Raven is the official co-captain of Country Roads MVP. She began her post in June 2017 when she was rescued by Dr. Micha. She is a female spayed German Shepherd who thinks that ice cream should be eaten daily. Her duties include: watching over the clinic, making new friends (animals and humans alike), playing with her toys, eating any treats left behind, and giving lots of hugs and kisses. Raven can often be spotted sitting in the driver’s seat, though she does not yet have her license. She loves her aunt KeKe (Keleia) and her “sister” Charlene. After a hard day of work, she enjoys long naps, quick laps around the house, and then snuggling up close with Dr. Micha at night.
